RUENNOH SEOUL, a newly launched gallery located near Hongik University, a hub of Korean culture and art, is set to open its doors on the 26th with the debut of “OPEN: UP,” a solo exhibition by Emmanuel Taku, marking his first exhibition in Korea.

Emmanuel Taku, who is making his debut on the Korean art scene, is known for exploring Black cultural history and the theme of "unity" through his work. His art uniquely incorporates paisley and Ankara patterns to represent cultural identity. Experts highlight the dynamic interplay of figures in his works, which convey the spiritual energy inherent in communities.
Through this inaugural exhibition, RUENNOH SEOUL aims to establish an international art network and strengthen its presence in both the Korean and global art markets. Moving forward, the gallery plans to offer a variety of high-caliber global services, including curated exhibitions and art transactions, while showcasing artists from diverse cultural backgrounds.

RUENNOH SEOUL is launched by SAWEOL Gallery, which presents fresh and vibrant works of art across multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, and photography. SAWEOL Gallery aims to elevate the value of art through curated exhibitions, hoping the colors and expressions of the pieces will illuminate the future of Korean art.
The exhibition will run through November 22 and is open by appointment (82-2-1661-7743). The gallery is closed on weekends.
